The Mexican bootleg ludes in NYC c.'79 were ok, at least those emanating from behind the hat-check counter at Hurrah. The hat check girl was a young Madonna - tho of course A doesn't necessarily lead to B.

But does anyone remember the double-strength Mandy capsules - clear with a blue stripe round the middle. Last time I had those (circa 1967) a guy tripped and fell the whole length of our staircase without hitting a step, lost his trousers in mid-air and landed bare-assed and laughing.
