I recover but my physicians and others who know tell me it’ll take time and warn me about raising anything like a towering fury over the grim stupidity of the conservative destruction of our global economy lest I relapse. But I am clearly getting better because I’m bored and the image of an egg conjures irrational and uncalled-for memories of Dean Swift, Lilliput, and Gulliver's bloody Travels

“An intra-Lilliputian quarrel which involved a quarrel over the practice of breaking eggs. Formerly, in Lilliput, all eggs were broken on the larger end; but a few generations in the past, an Emperor of Lilliput had decreed that all eggs be broken on the smaller end.
