The weird thing is that New Orleans is a heavily Catholic City. Xavier University, the only historically Black Catholic university in the country was also flooded, as were Catholic hospitals schools and churches. The guy is not even a good defender of the creepy pope's brand of creepy Catholicism, but, by golly, he's a ranting right wing nut job, and that's what counts.
Then again New Orleanians practice a rather Afro Caribbean brand of Catholicism that believes in partying and freely acknowledges sexuality. I guess Pope Creepy is hoping to impose a more Teutonic vision of the church.
I like my Jesus with a second line rhythm and minimal intrusion from the clergy.
