I do wholeheartedly agree with what that crazed extremist George said about maintaining a status of independence and bemoan my current lack of ordnance, for I fear we might need same soonest.
As for the powers that be, since they're the ones that bring the stuff in, keeping the price up by keeping it illegal is to their advantage... more for black ops and other nasties, plus they get to lock up select dissidents and other folks they don't like. Methinks it'll only end come the revolution.
