Except, as I filled in the boxes a feeling of unease came over me. Was I putting myself on some future list as a target for retribution? But I went ahead anyway realizing that such anxiety is the power and product of a potentially fascist state, and all the more reason to haul the sons of bitches out of power.

Agree Bradley, time to break the chain. You Mick, as many of us, are probably on some list or other anyway.
And this Libby thing has had more effect then the war, torture, many thousands of deaths. Apparently, there's no underestimating a slap in the face. Closer to home I guess than all that out-sourced horror.
Check out Kieth Olberman's "J'Acusse" on Common Dreams ( http://www.commondreams.org/archive/2007/07/04/2279/). As of a few minutes ago, 97 comments and counting and they are more overt in calling for resignation, impeachment, even revolution than any I have ever seen on that site.
Something is happening..... I hope.
