In the grey of dawn, as the narcotics wore off, he started feeling the lowdown depressing blues. The cat didn’t want to talk so, to cheer himself up, he posted a totally irrelevant picture of Jerry Lee Lewis, and a link to an article by the great Howard Zinn (courtesy of Doug the Bass). You might say they were two sides of his perverse coin. (And if you don’t know who Howard Zinn is check him the fuck out!)

How long will my daughter's 12th grade history teacher be able to get away with using Howard Zinn's books as the only textbooks in his class? (And this is public school in the 'hood!) As long as possible hopefully. Thanks for writing this.
