"Some men rob you with a six gun, some with a fountain pen." -- Woody Guthrie
THIS SHIT MUST STOP!
You haven’t seen me much in the last couple of days as I’ve wrapping up a huge and exhausting writing project. However, in one of my TV breaks I heard a Woody Guthrie song – one of his kids' songs "Car-Car" – used on a sports car commercial. (BMW, I think but I was too pissed off to take note.) Woody has been dead since October 1967, but whatever executor cut this deal should probably be taken out on the parking lot and shot.
The secret word is Grrrr

About the Guthrie song sell out, I believe this isn't the first time. If I remember correctly in the late 70's and early 80's the fast food chain "Arby's" used Arlo Guthrie's line from "Alice's Restaurant": "You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurent" and changed it to "You can get anything you want at Arby's Restaurant".
