Sea-Monkeys on the back of Silver Surfers were the epitome of consumer envy when I was a kid.Just to look at those ads was akin to studying an indecipherable map hinting at the whereabouts of the Lost Ark. Great stuff.
It may be a cat's whisker AM receiver, with low selectivity. When I worked on single-chip cell phones in the '80s, the official design goal was the Dick Tracy wrist radio. But then, you just want to talk to Breathless Mahoney.
