SUNDAY BREAKFAST
As I slice the grapefruit and prepare to add the vodka, I have to ask myself – who are these people? Who are these bankers who are currently running round the USA seeking immunity for crimes neither revealed or investigated? Who are these people? Who are these brokers who hold the planetary economy to ransom by threatening crash the markets in a lemming-gavotte panic at the slightest whiff of some neo-Keynesian New Deal public deficit spending to create jobs, expand the tax base, and save capitalism? Who are these people? Who are these Eurocrats who seem more than happy to allow entire countries to fall apart and let Greek children go without health care and education in the name of some semantic absurdity called fiscal restraint? Who are these people? Who are these people who unlike the rest of us feel no loyalty to kith, kin, country, species, or the world in which they expect to live with rest of as we are consigned to pauper hell? Who are these people? Who are these people who are prepared to served no cause beyond their own monumental, obscene, but increasingly abstract greed? Who are these people? Will someone point them out to me so we can drag them behind the bicycle sheds and fire 9mm hollow-point slugs from a handy handgun into the backs of their worthless skulls?

The secret word is Insurrection
My sentiment exactly.
ReplyDeleteScum.decimation,old school.
ReplyDeleteYou can start with Jamie Dimon.
ReplyDeleteWhile the bullet to the brain is the expedient way I think hanging them from a lamp post with their own entrails would be more poetic.
ReplyDeletePerhaps best not to make "bullet to the brain" suggestion as we have seen far to many take it literally and avail themselves of our lack of + lax gun laws
ReplyDeleteWho indeed? Or perhaps more to the point, why? I suspect that the difficulty may be that whoever they are, they are wired so completely differently to the rest of us that meaningful and constructive dialogue between us and them is virtually impossible. They do what they do because it's a kind of autism - they see only this way of relating to the World and they do it because they can, because it's the only thing that makes sense for them. It can't be for money, greed, whatever you call it, because they have more money than they could ever spend, particularly if along the way they destroy the foundations that make manufacturing and spending in any way meaningful on the terms of the rest of us. The money's just the way they keep the score and the havoc they wreak is simply beyond their capacity to process.
ReplyDeletei`d say, from experience,it`s closer to psychopathic behaviour than autistic.whatever, hang them.
