THE YAHOOS ARE TAKING THIS LAND

Yes, my friends, despite all our efforts of a year ago, when we thought we might usher in a golden dawn and a second New Deal for America, the yahoos – if only in their fevered, tunnel-vision imaginations – are taking back the land. In their blind, baying ignorance, they suppose they’re making America safe for God and capitalism, but, in reality, they are securing it for Goldman Sachs, big oil, big pharm, big insurance, zombie banks, and all their psychotic Wall Street partners-in-larceny, so they can steal every last dollar in the national cash register even if it destroys the entire social structure and turns the environment into a wasteland in the process. Meanwhile all the limp-whimpering liberals and progressives with whom I once aligned myself continuously prove themselves lily-livered incapable of fighting back the irrational mob that has been whipped to a drooling frenzy my cheap media manipulation and corporate financing. When a racist, sexist, homophobic, nude-model ox can be elected to the Senate seat vacated by the passing of Ted Kennedy, a dour day dawns for democracy. Are our fellow citizens too fucking dumbed down to realize that this oaf – spouting meaningless drivel about how he is “against the machine” – is nothing more than a fully purchased shill for the gangrenous corporate status quo that will ultimately kill them? Is it too late to prevent the stupid from voting? Are Americans actually witless enough to hand power to a shame-devoid and calculating grifter like Palin? All I know is that the yahoos must be fought. Tooth and nail. No prisoners. No quarter. By any means necessary, and forget all the liberal niceties and cocktail party rules of engagement. They shall not pass. They show us their weapons and we must show them ours. I fear it is time to turn ugly.

The secret word is Foul

  1. Chairman Mick, your post captures my feelings regarding the election of Teabagger lover cum proto-fascist scum Senator "Shirt" Brown. I worked my ass off in 2008 fighting for both Obama and defeating Proposition 8. So bubbling through my brain right now are less than charitable thoughts for those liberals and progressives who want to press the Wimp Out button hard and long.

  3. The dream died long ago and yes there are enough brain dead idiots to elect Palin. As someone else siad today, it's time to play by Chicago rules as defined by Shaun Connery in 'Scarface'. They pull a knife we pull a gun, whatever it takes to win.

Chomsky says that polls continue to show that a majority of the US people want a single-payer system. So, it seems that we're dealing with about 1/4 of the U.S. who are the postmodern equivalent, in my opinion, of Nazi scum, as opposed to half. I should know--most of my friends and relatives ARE said scum. Krugman was right--the stimulus was much too small, and the poor boneheads think that if Obama could do anything he would have already, and that we've gone socialist and seen it fail in a matter of months. I should have noticed that Biden and Emmanuel were two of the biggest supporters of the invasion of Poland--I mean Iraq. Obama is not Bobby Seale, fer fucksake . . . .

Hey, these Massachusetts Catholic morons are almost as stupid as the Protestant morons I live with! Makes me feel a little better . . . .

Just drink and do drugs with working people and listen before talking. That's all they really require. That, and a lobotomy!

    Correction:
Bush the Younger had an 80% approval rating after 9-11. That means its actually at least 80% who are bloodthirsty brainwashed jackasses . . . . I hear a lot of slurs against the South in academia, so I get too much self-hatred. Still, a majority want single-payer. I never would have guessed from the TV . . .
