Yes my friends, the news is dire. Obama becomes president and Middle America buys bullets.
“Bullet-makers are working around the clock, seven days a week, and still can't keep up with the nation's demand for ammunition. Shooting ranges, gun dealers and bullet manufacturers say they have never seen such shortages. Bullets, especially for handguns, have been scarce for months because gun enthusiasts are stocking up on ammo, in part because they fear President Barack Obama and the Democratic-controlled Congress will pass antigun legislation - even though nothing specific has been proposed and the president last month signed a law allowing people to carry loaded guns in national parks.” (Click here for the whole absurd story)
The secret word is Blam!

But here is the stupid part. When you buy a gun,you have to register it,and then someone knows you own a gun! So they think seriously, that they won't have to surrender it?
ReplyDeleteDo they seriously think that since a oh my God,black man is our president, that they will need guns?
Wow,man people is fucked up.
It's the perfect no cost economic stimulus. At this rate the ammunition manufactures will have to expand their facilities and heir more workers helping kick start the recovery.
ReplyDeleteI know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?"
ReplyDeleteMedia B.S. Doc.
ReplyDeleteThe arms and ammo buying spree started back in last couple years of the Bush administration.
A lot of the shortages of military calibers is because of large federal orders.
Of course it picked up with Obama, it always does when a Democrat gets elected and the gun shops love to push the rumors.
I don't think Obama has proven to be much of an anti-gun President so far, but will see. If they do bring back the "assault weapons" ban prices on those weapons and magazines will skyrocket, so there is also the issue of investment.
