ReplyDeleteWe have to pick the lesser of two evils and then we have to agree to their idiocy because we "voted" for them. Like somehow we've truly endorsed them.
At least with kings, you have something to revolt against. Now they just let us press a lever every couple of years and try to convince us that's true change.
Beheading the occasional King also helps keep them in line.
