SATURDAY WEIRDNESS
This deeply bizarre album cover is posted without comment and in haste because Andy and I have a show tonight. For details of the show scroll down to last Thursday's post.
Holy shit! Talk about overcoming adversity! We ought take this as personal inspiration. In a way it reminds me of Evelyn Glennie, a fabulous classical percussionist who I always try to catch... at the first show I saw her do, which was at a nearby college (SUNY Purchase) wherein I got to sit very close to the low stage, awash in all manner of instruments it was, all strewn about; she ran around playing them all with remarkable virtuosity. It was only partway through the show, however, that I entered into astonishment, as in reading the program... I learned that she is deaf... 100%... amazing indeed! If anyone can identify the album in question here, please let us know who it is.
